Nourse nominated to U.S. Court of Appeals

Washington, D.C.: President Obama nominated Victoria F. Nourse to a federal judgeship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit on July 14th. Professor Nurse has taught law at the University of Wisconsin since 1993. She has also worked as a law clerk, a private practice lawyer, and has served on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and for the U.S. Department of Justice. The President claimed, "Throughout her career Victoria Nourse has shown a commitment to justice."[1]
