Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. (1841-1935) was an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States.

He received a recess appointment from President Theodore Roosevelt on August 11, 1902 to fill a seat vacated by Horace Gray. He was nominated on December 2nd of that same year. On December 4, 1902 he was confirmed by the Senate and received commission. He retired on January 12, 1932.
