Patricia Blackmon

Patricia Ann Blackmon is a judge on the Ohio Eighth District Court of Appeals. She was elected to this position in 1996 and was re-elected to 6-year terms in November of 2002 and 2008. She will be up for re-election again in 2014, when her current term ends.[1][2][3]
Biography
Justice Blackmon received her bachelor's degree in African-American Studies, Political Science and History from Tougaloo College. She went on to receive her law degree from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1975.[3]
Legal career
Before joining the Court of Appeals in 1996, Justice Blackmon worked as a Cleveland Chief Prosecutor. She also worked as a Professor and an Assistant Director of the Victims/Witness Program at Dyke College.[3]
