Patricia A. Orozco is a judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One. She was appointed by Democratic Governor Janet Napolitano in 2004, retained in 2008, and her current term expires in 2014.

Education

Judge Orozco earned her BA from the University of Arizona, Tucson in 1977 and her JD from the University of Arizona, College of Law, Tucson in 1989. She enjoys hiking, reading and traveling. [1]

Legal career

From 1990-1991, Orozco was a Staff Attorney with Southern Arizona Legal Aid, and from 1991-1994 she was an Associate with Bowman & Smith, P.C.. She was in private practice in Yuma, Arizona from 1994-1999, and served as the Yuma County Attorney from 1999-2004. In 2004 she received her appointment to the Arizona Court of Appeals. [1]
