Paul Coffee is a judge on the Second District, Division Six of the California Courts of Appeal. He was appointed by then-Governor Wilson and took his oath of office on April 15, 1997. He was retained on November 2, 2010 and his next term ends on January 3, 2023.[1]
Education
Paul Coffee graduated from Berkeley in 1954 and received his law degree in 1962 from the Boalt Hall School of Law, Berkeley.[2][3]
Legal career
Paul Coffee was part of Wines, Coffee & Robinson from 1963 to 1975. He then worked for Hoge, Fenton, Jones & Appel from 1975 to 1992. He became a judge on the San Luis Obispo Superior Court, where he served until 1997.[2][3]
