Paul G. Gessner is a superior court judge for the 10C Judicial District of the Third Division of the Superior Court, which presides over Wake County in North Carolina. He was elected to the court in November 2006 and his current term expires in 2014.[1] Gessner was re-elected to the 10C Judicial District of the Third Division of the Superior Court in 2014.[2]

Gessner received his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from North Carolina Wesleyan College and his J.D. from the Campbell University School of Law.[3]

Career

Before joining the superior court, Gessner served as a district court judge for the 10th Judicial District for ten years. He has also served as a police officer for the city of Raleigh and as a prosecutor for Wake County.[1]
