Pennsylvania Magisterial Districts

The Pennsylvania Magisterial Districts are minor courts in Pennsylvania that deal with small claims, landlord-tenant disputes, traffic cases and minor criminal matters. Magisterial district judges are nominated by the Governor and confirmed by the state Senate. There are 546 magisterial district judges throughout the state. [1]
