Peter J. Eckerstrom is the Vice Chief Judge judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division Two. He was appointed to the Court of Appeals in 2003 by Governor Janet Napolitano, and was retained in 2006 and 2012. His current six-year term on the court ends in 2018.
Education
Judge Eckerstrom earned his B.A. in 1982 from Yale University and his JD from Stanford University in 1986. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1986 and the Arizona Bar in 1988.
Legal career
In 1988, Eckerstrom became Assistant Pima County Public Defender, a position that he served until 1994. [1]
