2012 election
Whiteaker was elected to District 1, Position 2 on the Arkansas Court of Appeals. This position was formerly held by Judge Raymond Abramson.[2]
Whiteaker competed against Richard Lusby and Jeannette Robertson in the primary election on May 22, 2012.[3] He was the top vote-getter in the primary, receiving 38.09% of the vote.[4] He defeated Jeannette Robertson in the general election on November 6, earning 53.78% of the vote.[5]
