Pickens County is in the 24th Circuit of Alabama, along with Lamar County and Fayette County.[1]
The people of Pickens County are served by a Circuit Court, District Court, Probate Court and five Municipal Courts.
The United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama has jurisdiction in Pickens County. Appeals from the Northern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
