Washington, D.C.: The District of Columbia Judicial Nomination Commission has made three recommendations for the seat on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals opened with the recent retirement of Vanessa Ruiz. The Commission recommended attorney Geoffrey Morris Klineberg, DC Superior Court judge Neal E. Kravitz, and attorney Roy Wallace McLeese III. [1]
"It’s an honor to be included on this list with Mr. McLeese and Judge Kravitz. I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to move forward." Klineberg said. [2]
These recommendations now go before President Obama who has 60 days to make a nomination.
