Reuben Green is a judge on the Cobb Superior Court in Georgia. He was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue in August 2010. [1]
Education
Green received his undergraduate degree from Lewis & Clark College and his J.D. from Emory University School of Law.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Green served as Special Assistant U.S. Attorney. Before this, he was an Assistant District Attorney in the Cobb County District Attorney's Office. He began his career in private practice, then later served in the DeKalb County Solicitor General's Office. [1]
2012 election
Green ran for re-election to the Cobb Superior Court and won, receiving 54.8% of the vote in the July 31 election.[2] He defeated challenger Nathan Wade, who received 45.1% of the vote.[3]
