Rhea County is located within the Twelfth Judicial District of Tennessee. The people of this county are served by a Circuit Court, a General Sessions Court, a Juvenile Court and Municipal Courts.[1]

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee has jurisdiction in Rhea County. Appeals from the Eastern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
