Ricardo D. Zwaig is an associate judge for the Tenth District Court in Howard County, Maryland. He was appointed to the court by Governor Martin O'Malley in July 2010 to replace Alice P. Clark. Zwaig assumed office on August 27, 2010 and his current term expires in 2020.[1][2] As a native of Buenos Aires, Zwaig is the first Hispanic to serve on Howard County's district court.[3][4]


Zwaig received his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1982.[3]
