Richard A. Luce was a judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to a newly-created judgeship on this court by then-Governor Bob Martinez in the fall of 1987 and took office in January of 1988. His last term expired on January 7, 2013.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Education
Luce received his B.A. degree from Utica College of Syracuse University and his J.D. degree from the Stetson University College of Law in 1973.[7][8]
Legal career
Luce was an assistant public defender and assistant city attorney for St. Petersburg before he joined the Pinellas County Court in 1981. He was then appointed to the [Florida Sixth Circuit Court|Circuit Court]] in 1987.[3]
