Richard N. LaFlamme is a judge for the 4th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Michigan. He was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder on Aug. 9, 2011 to replace former Judge Chad Schmucker. His current term expires after Jan. 1, 2017.
LaFlamme received his bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University in 1977 and his law degree from the University of Michigan in 1980.
LaFlamme worked at Dykema Gossett before starting his own law firm in 1989. He specialized in employment, commercial and business law, and civil litigation. He was appointed to the circuit court in 2011.
