Richard Y. Lee is a judge on the Superior Court of Orange County. Governor Schwarzenegger appointed Lee to the court on August 11, 2010 to fill the vacancy of Judge Josephine S. Tucker.[1]

2012 election

Lee ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Lee was automatically re-elected.[2]

Prior to joining the court, Lee served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Central District of California since 2001. From 1998 to 2001, Lee worked in the private practice of law. Before this, he was a research attorney for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County from 1997-1998.[1]
