Rick T. Haselton is a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals. He has served on this court since 1994. He was retained in 2000  and 2006  and his current term ends in January of 2019.
Haselton received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 1976 and a J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1979.
Haselton began his legal career in 1979 as a clerk for Judge Alfred Goodwin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. From 1980 to 1994, he practiced law with the firms Lindsay, Hart, Neil & Weigler and Haglund & Kirtley. He specialized in complex civil cases and appeals until he joined the Court of Appeals in 1994.
Haselton was re-elected after running unopposed to the Oregon Court of Appeals, Position 5.  He earned 99.27% of the vote in the May 15th primary.
