Rick Haselton

Rick T. Haselton is a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals. He has served on this court since 1994. He was retained in 2000[1] and 2006[2] and his current term ends in January of 2013.[3]
Biography
Judge Haselton is a native of Oregon. He received a B.A. degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 1976 and a J.D. degree from Yale Law School in 1979.[4]
Legal career
Judge Haselton began his legal career in 1979 as a clerk for Judge Alfred Goodwin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. From 1980 to 1994, he practiced law with the firms Lindsay, Hart, Neil & Weigler and Haglund & Kirtley. He specialized in complex civil cases and appeals until he joined the Court of Appeals in 1994.[4]
