Ricky Polston is the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. He was appointed to the court on October 2, 2008 by Governor Charlie Crist. Justice Polston was retained to another six year term on November 2, 2010. His current term expires in 2017.[1]
In 2012, Polston began a two-year term to serve as Chief Justice of the court. [2]
Education
Polston earned his Associates degree from Chipola Jr. College in 1975. He then received his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor with from Florida State University in 1977 and 1986, respectively.[1]
