Ricky Polston

Ricky Polston is an associate justice of the Florida Supreme Court. He has served in this position since October 2, 2008. He is up for retention election in 2010.[1][2]
Biography
Justice Polston grew up in Graceville, Florida. He received his A.A. degree from Chipola Jr. College in 1975. He then received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Florida State University in 1977 and 1986, respectively. He worked as an accountant before attending law school. He has been a Certified Public Account since 1978. He is now married and has ten children.[2]
Legal career
He began his legal career in 1987 as a private practice lawyer. He then joined the Florida First District Court of Appeal on January 2, 2001. He held this position until he joined the Supreme Court in 2008.[2]
