Robin E. Hudson (b. 1952) is an Associate Justice on the North Carolina Supreme Court. She was elected in 2006 in a non-partisan election to an eight-year term that expires in 2014. Justice Hudson is affiliated with the Democratic Party.

Legal education

Justice Hudson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Yale University in 1973, and received a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 1976.[1]

Legal experience

Justice Robin Hudson was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1976 after graduation from law school. She was in private practice until her election to the Court of Appeals in 2000.[2]
