Roger Foley

Roger D. Foley (1917-1996) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
Foley was nominated by President John F. Kennedy on June 12, 1962, to a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 29, 1962, and received his commission on July 2, 1962. From 1963-1980, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on October 29, 1982. He served the District of Nevada until his death on January 7, 1996.
