Judicial selection Commission

In 2006, Berke was appointed by the Tennesee Speaker of the Senate to serve a six year term on the Tennessee Judicial selection Commission with Berke's term set to expire on August 31, 2012.

Berke was nominated by the Tennesee Trial Laywers Association representing Tennessee. Berke's work on the Supreme Court Board of Professional Responsiblity played a large role in his appointment[2].

Berke recieved his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in Charloettesville and his juris doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville[3].
