S. Peter Feldstein is a multi-bench judge for the Family, County and Surrogate's courts in Hamilton County, New York. He has served in this position since 1990, following his election. He was re-elected in 1999 and 2009. He has also served as an Acting Justice for the New York Supreme Court 4th Judicial District in Hamilton County since 2000. His current term ends in 2019.[1]

Education

Feldstein received his A.B. degree from Union College (Schenectady, NY) in 1971 and his J.D. degree from Duke University Law School in 1977.[1]

Legal career

Feldstein was an attorney in private practice from 1978 to 1989. He joined the Hamilton County Court in 1990 and was appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2000.[1]
