Sam Gilbert Bratton (1888-1963) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on June 1, 1933 to replace John Hazelton Cotteral. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission on June 1, 1933. From 1956 to 1959, he was the chief judge. On March 1, 1961, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on September 22, 1963[1].
