Samuel H. West (1872-1938) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

West was nominated by President Calvin Coolidge on December 10, 1928, to a seat vacated by David Westenhaver; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 17, 1928, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on October 5, 1938.[1] West was succeeded in this position by Robert Wilkin.
