Corbin case recusual
In 2009, attorneys for Nassau County plaintiff Roger Corbin asked the Clerk of Court to require Judge Feurestien to recuse herself from his case and re-assign it to another judge. Corbin's attorneys have alleged that Judge Feuerstien has a political bias towards Corbin because the judge's husband has strong ties to the Republican Party of New York. [3]
