Sara L. Doyle is a presiding judge on the Georgia Court of Appeals. She was elected in December of 2008 and took office on January 1, 2009.[1] Her term will end on December 31, 2020.


Doyle received her undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1994.[2]


Doyle started her career at Strickland & Benson, P.C. Prior to taking the bench, she worked for the law firm Holland & Knight LLP as a member of the Education Team. She specialized in representing private educational institutions.[2][1]
