Schauer nominated to Westchester County Family Court

New York: Gov. Paterson has nominated Michelle I. Schauer to fill a vacancy on the Westchester County Family Court. Schauer has served as a Court Attorney Referee for this court since 1999. She previously worked as a law clerk. If the nomination is confirmed by the State Senate, Schauer will serve until December 31, 2010. After this, a new judge (to be elected in the November general election) will take office.[1]
