Seth Thomas

Seth Thomas (1873-1962) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
He received a recess appointment from President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on December 2, 1935 to replace Charles Breckenridge Faris. On January 6, 1936, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 22nd, and received commission on January 28th. On May 1, 1954, he assumed senior status, serving in this capacity until his death on February 2, 1962.
