Judicial Qualifcations Commission
Mr. Colvin was appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission, which regulates and enforces the Rules of Professional Conduct, the mechanics of legal ethics. He served as chairman of the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission.
Other Professional Memberships
Colvin is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a legal organization that invites less than one percent of the lawyers in North America into membership. Since 1989, his peers have named Mr. Colvin one of the Best Lawyers in America. He has served as president and a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He also was a member of the Board of Governors for the Indiana State Bar Association and chaired its Trial Lawyers Section. In 2003-2004, he served as President of the Indiana State Bar Association.
