2009 vacancy
There was a vacancy on the court due to the retirement and subsequent death of judge James Allendoerfer in 2009. Five candidates were on the ballot for the November 3, 2009 general election. The candidates were David Hulbert, Scott Lord, Scott Peterson, Rico Tessandore and Joe Wilson, with Wilson ultimately being elected. [1]
