Solomon Blatt

Solomon Blatt, Jr. (1921-present) is a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
Blatt was nominated by President Richard Nixon on May 18, 1971, to a seat vacated by Donald Russell; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 26, 1971, and received commission two days later. He served as chief judge from 1986 until he assumed senior status on May 7, 1990.
