Education
Feren received his B.A. degree from Queens College (of the City University of New York) in 1974 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1979.[5]
Career
Feren is a former Assistant City Attorney and private practice lawyer (general practitioner). He served on the Sunrise City Commission from 1987 to 1992. He was then elected to the Florida House of Representatives. In 1996, he became the Mayor of Sunrise. He held that position until he was elected to the Circuit Court in 2008.[6][7]
