Steven E. Stone is a judge on the San Diego County Superior Court. He was appointed in December 2010 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to succeed DeAnn M. Salcido. [1]
2012 election
Stone ran for re-election to the Superior Court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Stone was automatically re-elected.[2]

Education
Stone received his undergraduate degree from the University of Redlands and his J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law. [1]
Career
After earning his law degree, Stone went into the private practice of law. In 2002, he joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California. He served in that position until joining the Superior Court in 2010. [1]
