Sue Walker

Sue Walker is a justice for the Texas Second District Court of Appeals. She ran unopposed and was elected to this position on November 7, 2000 and re-elected in 2006.[1] Her current term ends on December 31, 2012.[2]

Biography

Justice Walker grew up in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1982 and from Texas Tech University Law School in 1986.[3]

Legal Career

Justice Walker began her legal career as a law clerk and staff attorney for the Fifth District Court of Appeals. She then practiced civil and criminal appellate law as a solo practitioner until becoming a judge.[3]
