Judgepedia exists to help readers learn useful information about the court systems and judiciary in the United States. Judgepedia is a project of the nonprofit Lucy Burns Institute. We exist because of donations from generous individuals, and this support keeps us advertisement free. Your donations allow us to maintain and expand our free, collaborative, online encyclopedia about America's courts and judges. We really appreciate your support. Thank you!

Judgepedia's goal

Our goal is to cover information about every elected official in the United States. Judgepedia was created to help individuals learn about U.S. court systems and judiciary, and make informed decisions. Putting information online makes it possible to cover all three branches of government -- executive, legislative and judiciary -- at all three levels -- federal, state and local.

When you include the local level, there are over 507,000 elected officials in the United States. Wouldn't it be great if individuals could find information about every single appointed or elected judge, incumbent and candidate anywhere, at any level for any branch of government? That's what we want to do.
