Teresa Mary Pooler is a judge for the Eleventh Circuit Court of Florida in 2012. She took office on January 8, 2013.[1][2]
Education
Pooler received her B.A. degree (Economics) from Smith College and her J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law.[3]
Career
Pooler spent three years as an adjunct professor teaching Criminal Justice at Florida International University. He worked as a Traffic Hearing Officer in Miami-Dade County for ten years and, since 1991, he has practiced law as a self-employed attorney.[3]
2012 election
Pooler ran for election on Aug. 14, 2012. She defeated Victor H. De Yurre with 56.4% of the vote.[2][4]
