District 349 is a District Court in Anderson County and Houston County Texas.[1]

On June 29, 2007, a jury of the 349th District court found a former Texas law officer guilty of aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, endangering a child, deadly conduct, unlawful restraint and criminal trespass. The man's crimes were directed towards his ex-wife and occurred on June 24, 2006.[3]

  • On February 12, 2009, a jury of the 349th District found Steven Anthony Rose guilty of sexual abuse of a child. He received two life sentences for sexually assaulting multiple young boys. The Anderson County District Attorney described him as a "serial predator"[4]
