Thomas P. Agresti is the Chief Judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Western District of Pennsylvania.

Education

Thomas Agresti graduated from University of Pittsburgh Law School with a Juris Doctor and Bachelors Degree.[1]

Legal career

Judge Agresti began his career as a law clerk for the Chief U.S. District Judge Gerald Weber. He went on to work as an assistant district attorney, a lawyer specializing in bankruptcy cases and a court-appointed trustee overseeing bankrupt businesses. Agresti also served as president of the Erie County Bar Association, where he helped found its community-service program that helps disadvantaged children.[2]
