Thomas Trimble

Thomas Clark Trimble III (1878-1965) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on June 17, 1937 to replace John Ellis Martineau. He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission on June 18th. From 1948 to 1957, he was the chief judge. On January 14, 1957, he assumed senior status, serving in this capacity until his death on July 6, 1965.
