The United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma is the United States district court whose jurisdiction comprises the following counties: Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, and Washington. It is based in Tulsa. The current judges in the Northern District include Judge Claire Eagan, Judge Terrence Kern, Judge James Payne and Judge Gregory Frizzell.
The United States Attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court. The U.S. Attorney is David E. O'Meilia.
When decisions of the court are appealed, they are appealed to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals based in Downtown Denver at the Byron White Federal Courthouse.
