The United States Court for the Middle District of Louisiana is a United States district court whose jurisdiction includes the parishes of Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, Saint Helena, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana. Court is held at the United States Courthouse in Baton Rouge.

When decisions of the court are appealed, they are appealed to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals based in Downtown New Orleans at the John Minor Wisdom Federal Courthouse.

Jurisdictional Map

The parishes of East Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupe, Iberville, Livingston, St. Helena, East Fellcina, and West Fellicina deal with the Middle District.
