The United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia is a United States district court. It serves the residents of thirty-four counties through six divisions.
- The Augusta division covers: Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Jefferson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Taliaferro, and Wilkes counties.
- The Dublin division covers: Dodge, Jeff Davis, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Telfair, Treutlen, and Wheeler counties.
- The Statesboro division hears cases for: Bulloch, Candler, Emanuel, Evans, Jenkins, Screven, Tattnall, and Toombs counties.
The Waycross division serves Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware counties.
When decisions of the court are appealed, they are appealed to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals based in Downtown Atlanta at the Elbert P. Tuttle Federal Courthouse.
