Kansas: Yesterday, voters in Kansas cast ballots in the state's primary election. In Kansas, judges of the District Courts are selected in partisan elections. Only four races for these courts are contested this year.
- 13th District Court, Division 1: Jan Satterfield won the Republican primary in a four way race. With no Democratic challenger, she was re-elected after running unopposed. [1]
- 27th District Court, Division 1: Trish Rose won 55% of the vote in the Democratic primary. She was re-elected after running unopposed. [1]
- 29th District Court, Division 4: Winning 57% of the vote, William P. Mahoney defeated Rick Rehorn in the Democratic primary. Mahoney will run unopposed in November. [1]
- 19th District Court, Division 3: LaDonna Lanning won the Republican nomination, taking 25% of the vote. She will compete against Mark Krusor in the general election. [1]
