The goal of this project is to develop comprehensive lists that cover which federal judges have served in the United States Armed Forces, with a specific focus on judges who have served in foreign conflicts. The project will begin by covering all the current Article III judges and Senior judges and then more importantly expanding into the lists of former judges. This project will involve three key additions to every judge's page that served in the Armed Forces.

1. The addition of their military service under heading 4 of the infobox.

1. Add the line Military = to the judges infobox. Appropriate fills should include:

1. The Branch the judge served under.
2. The years that the judge served in active duty.

1. The addition of the subheading ===Military service=== under the heading ==Professional Career==

1. This section should contain information relating to the branch, the years served and any major conflicts the judge participated in during that service.

1. Two potential categories should be added to every judge's page.

1. One category for the branch of service.
2. A category for any conflict the judge served in.

There are five potential categories to cover the branches of the armed forces.

2. Category:Navy veteran
3. Category:Air Force veteran
4. Category:Marine veteran
5. Category:Coast Guard veteran

The following categories are applied to judges who served oversees in active service during the following conflicts. Additional categories can be added as we see fit. All category pages should be given the category Category:Veteran judges.

This dpl is designed to show the undergraduate and graduate universities. To change the court, just replace the text next to |category = with the appropriate category.
