The Family Division is a division of the Vermont Superior Courts, which are the trial courts in Vermont. There is one Family Division in each of the state's 14 counties.

These divisions hear cases involving family related legal matters such as divorces, annulments, desertions, separations, child support, parentage, domestic abuse, juvenile delinquency, juvenile abuse or neglect, and commitments to the Vermont State Hospital.[1]
