Education
Argento received her undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher College in 1984 and her J.D. from the State University of New York Buffalo Law School in 1988.[1]
Career
Argento began her legal career in private practice. In 2002, she was appointed a town justice in East Rochester, where she served until her election to the Monroe County Court in 2010. [1]
2010 election

Argento ran as a Republican for the Monroe County Court and won.[3] [4] Of the five candidates Argento was the only one to not receive a qualified rating from the Monroe County Bar Association, she did, however, receive a 'Qualified' rating from the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys and a 'Qualified with high sensitivity to racial/diversity issues' rating from Rochester Black Bar Association.[5]
