Vicki Argento is a judge for the Monroe County Court in Monroe County, New York. She was elected to this position in November of 2010 and took office on January 1, 2011. Her current term expires in 2020. She has also served as an Acting Justice of the Monroe County Supreme Court since 2011.

Education

Argento received her undergraduate degree from St. John Fisher College in 1984 and her J.D. from the State University of New York Buffalo Law School in 1988.

Career

Argento began her legal career in private practice. In 2002, she was appointed a town justice in East Rochester, where she served until her election to the Monroe County Court in 2010.

2010 election

Argento ran as a Republican for the Monroe County Court and won. Of the five candidates Argento was the only one to not receive a qualified rating from the Monroe County Bar Association, she did, however, receive a 'Qualified' rating from the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys and a 'Qualified with high sensitivity to racial/diversity issues' rating from Rochester Black Bar Association.
