Vicki Landwehr is a Minnesota Seventh Judicial District judge for Stearns County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position in 1993 and was elected to full terms in 1994, 2000 and 2006. She served as the Assistant Chief Judge of this court from July 1997 to September 2000 and as the Chief Judge from October 2000 to June 2005. She ran for re-election in 2012. Her current term ends in January of 2019.
Education
Landwehr received her B.A. degree from St. Cloud State University in 1975 and her J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1978.[1]
Career
Landwehr began her legal career in 1979 as an associate of the law firm of Hoolihan & Neils in St. Cloud, MN. She became a partner of this firm in 1983, and worked in this position until her judicial appointment in 1993.[1]
Elections
2012 election
Landwehr ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012. [2] She received 99.37% of the vote.[3]
