Victor D. Martinez is a judge on the Los Angeles County Superior Court in California. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010 to fill a newly created position. [1]
2012 election
Martinez has filed for election to the court in 2012. Because he is an incumbent and no opponent has filed against him, he will not appear on a ballot. After the primary election, Martinez was automatically re-elected.[2]

Education
Martinez received his undergraduate degree and J.D. from Western State University. [1]
Career
From 1994 to 1995, Martinez was a deputy public defender for the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender's Office. In 1996, he began serving as deputy alternate public defender for that office, where he stayed until joining the court in 2010. [1]
