Deluca ran for an open seat on the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. He was defeated by Dick Hughes, Fred A. Pierantoni, III, Joe Sklarosky, Jr., Michael T. Vough, Lesa Gelb, Molly Hanlon Mirabito, and Jennifer Rogers in both parties primaries on May 17. He received 5.1% in the Democratic primary and 4.3% of the vote in the Republican primary.
